Trying to get the hang of this whole 'International Journalism' thing

ABOUT ME

Often I tell people that I love to travel. Or rather, that I love to see new places, experience other cultures, do new things and to learn about this rather nifty place we call Earth. Ultimately this too does not really cover why I tend to travel around quite a lot. I do that so I can meet new and interesting people.

I love to debate, or at least talk about a wide range of subjects. This is not to say that I love the sound of my own voice, but rather that I enjoy the exchange of ideas and opinions.

As for some personals: My particular fields of interest are history, sociology, philosophy and global (geo)politics. Though when I’m not feeling particularly academic (which is quite often) I love to enjoy the outdoors and long walks on the beach. Yes, that sounds terribly corny, but it's true. Generally speaking I’m just curious about the world. I believe that knowledge and experiences enrich one’s life, and there is still plenty of stuff I don't know for me to feel quite poor at times.
