ABOUT ME
Hello y'all out there!
My name is Jamila, and I'm a student from Copenhagen who has made a tremendous decision in her life. I have decided to study abroad in the big USA this fall quarter of 2012, and I'm therefore eager to make new inspiring and valuable acquaintances throughout my journey in the U.S.,so I thought couch-surfing is an excellent opportunity for this.
I am very adventurous, and love to explore new, previously hidden sides of life, and I try to enjoy life as much as possible, being aware of that my time here is limited. A clever head once said: "everybody dies, but not everybody lives" and that is imo a significantly valid statement. :) At least it's always rolling inside my head, so therefore I try to live as much as possible in every aspect. :)
I love to spend quality time with friends and people I like, and I love to do crazy stuff, like ski-jet, body-combat, party all night long, but I also appreciate more easygoing stuff like reading a book, watching a good movie, or getting tanned in the backyard. Anything goes! :D
I am a very clean person, and of course I prefer a clean "couch" too.
PHILOSOPHY
When life gives you lemons, make orange juice, sit back and watch the world wonder how you did that! ;)
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet. Only been advised to try it by my best friend who couch surfed on her back-packer vacation in Australia.
Intereses
I love to body-combat (a worldwide fitness sport concept created by Les Mills), as well as doing crazy stuff that rushes my adrenaline, like skydiving surfing, bungee-jump etc.
Furthermore I am very interested in webdesign and webcoding. I am also a photographer, I work part time as a photographer in Denmark.

Música, películas y libros
I love films about WWII, especially those with a solid plot with a complicated story involved.... Charlotte Gray, Black Book, Dresden and so on. You name it ;)
I am also fond of movies taking place in ancient times, like Troy, Spartacus (the Starz series), Game of thrones, etc.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Deciding to study abroad at UCLA in fall 2012. I am so indescribably exited, you can't imagine! Thinking of all the new stuff and experiences ahead really tickles my fancy! :D
Enseña, aprende, comparte
Impossible is nothing. Well at least, that's what I've learned in life. No matter how hopeless a current situation can look and how sure you are of the fact that it's a dead-end road, there's always a detour hidden somewhere behind the bushes over there ;) I know it might perhaps sound a bit cliché, but really, there's definitely something to it!
Impossible should be a word forbidden to use!
