Adventure lover who loves to travel for the simple pleasure of seeing new and novel places.

I'm a bit of a nerd at heart and love a good solid discussion about anything with like minded smart people. I'm always up for trying something new and try to bring that philosophy with mew everywhere I go.

Half Scottish, half German, raised in England. I've lived in a number of different places (English teacher in Vietnam, student in Sweden, fruit picker in New Zealand and a cowboy in Australia)

PHILOSOPHY

Respect and listen to everyone. Some of the people you might initially dismiss are actually smart and interesting in areas of life that you barely even know exist.

MY APARTMENT
My apartment is located close to the city center, about a 5 minute walk away from the inner district. There are shops, restaurants & bars close by, as well as public transport a few minutes walk away.

You'll be sleeping on the sofa bed in my lounge, so you'll have your own space in the evenings.

If needs be, then I can let you sleep in my bed and I can sleep on the sofa bed

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Basically just surf at the moment, just because I don't have anywhere to host. Not done much surfing for the past couple of years, but have gotten the urge to get back into it.

Good music. Anything Indie, alternative, cool and Scandinavian etc.

Having one of those rare conversations that happily goes on all night without an end in sight.

Bought a 1973 Land Rover with 2 friends in South Africa and set off on a 15,000km road trip around Southern Africa.
Just finished riding a motorbike around 4,000,000 acres of Australian outback, chasing cattle.

Would love to pick up a guitar and start learning again since I regretfully stopped as a kid.
