¡Hola con todos Ustedes y Bienvenidos Viajeros y Anfitriones del Couchsurfing del 2025! a mi estrenado y renovado perfil CS, Soy James pero soy más llamado como Jaime/Jeimy/Jimmy/Jim por todos los que me conocen dentro y fuera de Perú y por los Viajeros del Mundo que conocí cuando Yo estuve antes como Host en el clásico Couchsurfing de hace más de 10 años atrás junto con mi ex-roommate y compañera de viajes, llamada Cynthia. Soy del distrito de Miraflores, Lima Oeste, muy cerca al Mar en el inicio del circuito turístico peatonal de Parques, Malecones, Acantilados y Playas de la Costa Verde (KM 0.0) y a 8 kms del gran Centro Histórico de Lima, que es el punto clásico y antiguo más visitado e imperdible de todos los Couchsurfers.

Soy un ex-Viajero que extraña volver a conocer otras ciudades del Mundo pero debido a un accidente en mi tobillo izquierdo durante un viaje en Sudamérica lo dejé de hacer por volver a caminar en una larga rehabilitación, espero algún día poder retomarlo no pierdo las espranzas, pero Gracias a la comunidad de Couchsurfing pude lograr a conocer a muchos Viajeros del otro lado del Mundo que humildemente pude hospedarlos y entablar una fraterna comunicación de intercambios culturales y gratos momentos.
Siempre me he sentido orgulloso de haber nacido en los 80’s con el idealismo y la mente Ochentera! 😎 que soy un amante de esas épocas y también de la época de oro del siglo XX.

Soy también de conocer mi Ciudad y de muchos rincones de la Vieja Lima que aun se conservan y que no están en los libros Turísticos; ya que he aprendido del día a día descubriendo por mi mismo la Lima clásica que aun no se va con el avanzar del Tiempo y del Progreso Urbano y de la Historia a través de la Arquitectura de lo clásico y antiguo. Lo retro de lo que fue la Juventud de los años 80’s y las costumbres que fueron justo en mi plena infancia donde me involucraba en la Tecnología de esa década en la fotografía, y Si!... AMO LA FOTOGRAFIA!, Pasaba mi tiempo tomando fotografías a las Casas antiguas de mi distrito y que ya no existen más por lo que me consuela tener esos hermosos recuerdos gráficos que los veo en mi álbum físico, así que puedo ser un buen fotógrafo para mis invitados Couchsurfers con sus smartphones🙂

¡Hello everyone, and welcome, Couchsurfing Travelers and Hosts of 2025!, to my brand new and updated CS profile. I'm James, but I'm more commonly known as Jaime/Jeimy/Jimmy/Jim by all who know me in and out of Peru, and by the world Travelers I met when I was a Host on the classic Couchsurfing platform over 10 years ago, along with my ex-roommate and travel companion, Cynthia. I'm from the Miraflores district of west Lima, very close to the ocean at the start of the pedestrian tourist circuit of Parks, Boardwalks, Cliffs, and Beaches of the Costa Verde (KM 0.0), and 8 km from Lima's great Historic Center, the most visited and unmissable classic spot for all Couchsurfers.

I'm a ex-Traveler who misses returning to other cities around the world, but due to an accident to my left ankle during a trip to South America, I stopped doing so to try walking again during a long rehabilitation. I hope to resume it one day. I'm not losing hope. Thanks to the Couchsurfing community, I was able to meet many travelers from the other side of the world, whom I was able to humbly host and establish a fraternal connection, cultural exchanges, and pleasant moments.
I've always been proud of having been born in the 80's with the idealism and spirit of the 80's! 😎 I'm a lover of those times and also of the golden age of the 20th century.

I also love to get to know my city and the many corners of old Lima that are still preserved and aren't in the tourist guides; I've learned day by day, discovering for myself the classic Lima that has not yet disappeared with the advance of time and urban progress and history through classical and ancient architecture. The retro vibe of the 80's youth and the customs that were right in my childhood where I got involved in the technology of that decade in photography, and Yes!... I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY!, I spent my time taking pictures of the old houses in my district that no longer exist, so it comforts me to have those beautiful graphic memories that I see in my physical album, so I can be a good photographer for my Couchsurfing guests with their smartphones 🙂

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Creo que lo más increíble que pudo haberme sucedido en la Vida fueron 4 inolvidables momentos:

1. Concurrir a mi primer concierto de rock a ver a *los Prisioneros* de Chile cuando Yo tenia 10 años con una entrada regalada.
2. Iniciar la gran aventura de viajar a Chile 🇨🇱 en bus y en avión como Backpacker a los 18 años recién cumplidos recorriendo 8 regiones siete veces en 7 años a fines de Verano.
3. Haber caminado lentamente con un Bastón por más de 3 horas saliendo del Hospital para llegar al famoso Coliseo Romano de Italia, la 7ma. Maravilla del Mundo moderno.
4. Haber saludado dándole la mano al ex-Beatle Paul McCartney a la salida de su Hotel de Miraflores antes de su gran concierto en el Estadio Monumental de Lima en el 2011.

I think the most incredible things that could have happened to me in my life were four unforgettable moments:

1. Going to my first rock concert to see *Los Prisioneros* from Chile when I was 10 years old with a free ticket.
2. Starting the great adventure of traveling to Chile 🇨🇱 by bus and plane as a backpacker when I had just turned 18, traveling through eight regions seven times in seven years at the end of the summer.
3. Walking slowly with a cane for over three hours after leaving the hospital to reach the famous Roman Colosseum in Italy, the 7th Wonder of the Modern World.
4. Shaking hands with ex-Beatle Paul McCartney outside his Miraflores Hotel before his big concert at the Monumental Stadium in Lima in 2011.
