Overview
About Me
Hi I look forward to meeting you!
My name is James. I'm a friendly and sociable person who loves the outdoors and staying active. Trying out different kinds of food is one of my favorite things to do, and Chiang Mai is the perfect place to do just that! I'm 30 years old and work as an International School Teacher here in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
When I'm not teaching Geography and Sports at work, I enjoy playing for my football team, doing yoga, karaoke with friends, going on hikes and checking out nearby ice baths/hot springs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to meet a bunch of new people to give you some guidance on the best day trips/places to eat+drink around Chiang Mai during your stay, as well as to get to know you and your travels because I'm a curious person. Welcome to Chiang Mai!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In September 2022 I cycled 980 miles from the southern tip of England to the north coast of Scotland and raised over 2,300 GBP for charity. The most awesome thing about this epic journey was the friends I made along the way, and the conversations we shared as we moved through an incredible array of landscapes.
I still love to bike tour now to see somewhere new and explore the route there in intimate detail as I go!
