Interesting thing to answer... it always seems like the first thing you say is the core block of your identity and how you want others to see you so I guess in this case I overthink? I'm a 4w5 for those into the Enneagram I'm an INFJ for those into Myers Briggs I am an Aquarian with Scorpio rising for those with more far out tastes! Let's see so I am a writer. I write books non-fiction ones with a basis in some blend of philosophy and psychology (the Jungian/psychoanalytic variety) and mythology I guess. One was about God another Love and the second and fourth (which is a rewrite of my second if that makes any sense) is about suffering. I have been known to write poetry and songs (I play guitar and dabble in keyboard). What else about me.... I want everybody to be happy in my company it's kind of annoying for me sometimes if I'm honest but on the whole I'm grateful for it... I studied life coaching and NLP this year and I think that over the next year I will be setting up my own practice. I will probably study counselling and would love to study and become a Jungian analyst at some point... to be honest I just love wading around in the depths of the unconscious be that dreams or philosophy or psychology. Its a weirdly strong love of mine. Oh and lucid dreaming. I've been obsessed with that more than once though strangely I was never very good at it... I could ramble on and tease out more threads but I think you get a picture.

I'm on couchsurfing to get a different angle on travelling. I have stayed in hostels and travelled with HelpX/Workaway/WWOOF but never had a CS experience so I guess I am looking to try something new. I love connecting with people on a really deep level quite quickly and exploring the continent of a kindred mind and I can see a lot of this type of person on CS so why no be on couchsurfing I guess!

As for music I'm partial to a bit of Bob Dylan or a lot... I will always love the Chili Peppers... I'm really starting to enjoy a bit of Grateful Dead... hmm what else Bon Iver Johnny Flynn Neil Young been listening to a bit of Queen oh and there's always Michael Jackson (say what you will) bit of Nirvana love Amy Winehouse and Jeff Buckley oh and the Boss. My favourite band are probably still Bell X1 just for the pure quirk and and genius of the lyrics and the mirror it makes of the Irish soul.

Movies
Gotta say Tree of Life is the first thing to come to mind as it is probably the last thing I will ever understand... I could watch that movie a million times and still not have exhausted it. What else I always loved Lord of the Rings must be the mythic abduction of my mind...hmm... Whiplash was great. I like a Will Ferrell comedy so I do....I used to love the Butterfly Effect...I feel like there's a movie I adore I'm just not thinking of... I mean I love Star Wars (even 1,2 and 3) what am I missing....oh yeah Richard Linklater I love his stuff Waking Life is a classic for one who's often been obsessed with Lucid Dreaming and then there is the Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight trilogy that's what I was trying to think of. It really betrays the hopeless romantic in me I think and it's a bit cheese at times but it's just so real at other times. I love it. Oh yeah one last thing is that at the moment I am a bit obsessed with Game of Thrones. I'm binging like hell on this... although at the moment it's really grim and depressing and I just want to see dragons do their thang...

Not 100% what this means I guess I can teach guitar or dream analysis (kinda) I can do a bit of life coaching and experiment with a bit of NLP... I always love learning new random words in different languages and also learning what makes people tick what they love and I love exploring that and always learning more about humans... bit cheesy but I care not

A bit of life coaching and NLP, an infinity of deep conversations, music if there's a guitar around, dream interpretation personality typing interesting perspectives on anything (that's a bit arrogant and broad interesting perspectives on a lot of interesting things let's say.. that still sounds a bit much) oh and the basics of life I enjoy a bit of cleaning (or maybe it's the cup of tea and satisfaction after cleaning...) and a bit of cooking
