Hi everyone! I'm James David. 23 year old full-time student who was a tattoo artist for a few year previously.

I was born right here in Townsville, but my parents are from the beautiful country of the Philippines.

I love to draw and play sport. Complete contrasts I know, but I enjoy both just as much as each other. But most of all, I love socialising, having a beer and sharing a few stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the things I love most about travelling is meeting new people and experiencing the culture of every place I visit. I believe that true culture can only be experienced through real culture and not through some fancy tour guide.

Whilst travelling I have met the most amazing people both tourists and hosts, and thought that it was only fair that I return the favour.

I am on here primarily as a host, and would love to show you around our beautiful country of Australia.

Interests

I love to read and draw. But my main passion lies within sport. Everything sport I love. I like to keep fit, but still enjoy drinking.

I bartend on weekends and love travelling. Wherever, whenever, I love everything about it.

I love a good action movie and good biography. Though interesting books about history and motivational books always get me as well.

I've helped finance and build a school in the Philippines and have also taught in orphanages throughout Fiji.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach about the Australian culture. But most of all, I would love to share cultures and stories. I'm so intrigued about experiencing new things and say yes to just about any new experience that comes my way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very clean traveller, neat and tidy. But I also like to think of myself as courteous and respectful. I would love to share stories with whoever I'm staying with, and of course, a bed in return if you ever come and see me in Australia.
