I just graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine Florida with a degree in English, Philosophy & Religion. Now I teach English in Spain and hope to travel as much as possible. I love music more than anything and I would spend all of my time making and listening to music if I did not have to work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To truly experience locals in places foreign to me. Hopefully to find some culture in each city in each country I visit. I hope to host interesting people with a unique history of their own. Yes I want to know about the general culture of a place, but am also very interested in individual exceptions of cultural steriotypes. I want the insider's perspective of a city.

Music: Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, St. Vincent, Rilo Kiley to name a few popular artists. If you listen to Gemma Hayse, The Staves, or The Antlers we are already friends.

Movies: Into the Wild, Inception (Anything by Chris Nolan), Boogie Nights (Anything by PT Anderson), and anything Science Fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once played the organ in the Upper Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi Italy. I have been river rafting through the middle section of the Grand Canyon and have climed a few mountains.

I do not require more than some safe place to sleep. I have travel stories if you want to hear them, but I want to meet a variety of people and love to listen. I can play any instrument put in front of me, and I can help you practice English.
