I am a 27 year old musician who often travels for gigs and other activities. As well as music, I also play korfball (Dutch sport with similarities to basketball and netball), and take part in running events. Through Korfball, I often go on tour, and involved with the organising side of events, and required to travel for this. When commuting, I like to take a few days extra to get the most out of the trip, and to experience the place.

I have lived most of my life in West Bridgford (just outside Nottingham), apart from a three year spell in York. I love to travel but have not been able to much in recent years due to other commitments. I suffered a Cardiac Arrest in 2018, which has limited my abilities to travel in the last few years, but have now recovered, fighting fit and wanting to see more of the world. I have been fitted with an Implantable Cardio Defibrillator, and this should not effect me when travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for cheap overnight accomodation and hopefully be able to make new friends through doing so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sung in York Minster at least 20 times. I've also walked inbetween the stones of Stonehenge (which are normally restricted), Performed in a Parisian bar and worked at Leeds Festival.
