About Me

Hello fellow travelers! My name is Hawi James Ouma, and I'm thrilled to be a part of the Couchsurfing community. As an avid explorer and adventure enthusiast, I firmly believe that the best way to experience a new place is through the eyes of its locals. That's why I'm excited to open my doors and share my home and hometown with fellow wanderers like you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm not hosting guests, you can find me working for Lifesong Kenya, a nonprofit organization that helps boys and young men to find a safe place, education, transformative justice and transitional housing. Whether it's hiking through scenic trails, bike packing, camping, sampling delicious cuisine, or exploring the vibrant arts and culture scene, I'm always up for new adventures and experiences.

I can't wait to meet fellow travelers from around the globe and embark on unforgettable adventures together. So pack your bags, hit the road, and let's create incredible memories that will last a lifetime!
