My name is James. I quit my job and left cold and wet England to go travelling and have been since January throughout Asia.

I’m now in Oz trying to stay as long as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing to meet like minded people and understand their way of life in there country.
I like to find a better way of affording accommodation whilst travelling for one year around SE Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

nearly completed the 8 wonders of the world, been to Ukraine and seen the Chernobyl disaster, been to the world cup in Russia, and ran with the bull in Pampalona (spain)

I have also swam with sharks, gone to the north Korean border at DMZ, Looked after elephants in Chiang Mai (Thailand), Been on the bullet train in Japan(Tokyo), stayed on a few Islands, completed the golden triangle in India, seen the golden bridge in Vietnam and been to MT. Fuji

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Chess and english card games, if you dont speak English I dont mind teaching this to or learning your language aswell.
I can share my memories, stories and pictures over a meal or drink.
