About Me

Hey there! I'm someone who enjoys meaningful connections, discovering different cultures, and helping others along their journey — which is exactly why I love Couchsurfing.

By profession, I’m a web developer, but outside the screen I’m all about mountains, climbing, hiking, trail running, and camping under the stars. I also enjoy reading, learning new things, and diving into deep conversations about life, philosophy, and the human experience.

As a host, I’m pretty easy-going and respectful of everyone’s space. I’ll gladly offer help, share time and stories, or even show you around — but I also understand and value quiet time, both mine and yours. I treat guests like friends, not customers.

I believe every encounter has something to teach us. Whether it’s a new perspective, a laugh, or just a good cup of coffee, I always come away with something valuable.

I am looking forward to sharing moments, ideas, and maybe even some adventures together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the world is much more interesting when you experience it through people, not just places. I enjoy meeting open-minded travelers, exchanging stories and perspectives, and being part of someone’s journey — whether by offering a couch, sharing a meal, or just having a good conversation.

Interests

I enjoy being outdoors — whether it's hiking in silence, tackling a challenging climb, or just sharing a sunrise with good company. Nature gives me peace, perspective, and sometimes a good sweat.

I'm drawn to philosophy, psychology, and science — especially when mixed with a touch of storytelling. I enjoy reading books that explore the human mind, nature, and meaning. From time to time, I’ll dive into a good novel if it makes me reflect.

Music-wise, I’ve been into mellow, melodic sounds lately — indie bands like Khruangbin, some jazzy tones, blues, or even melodic house when the mood fits.

I’m spontaneous by nature but I also believe some plans are necessary — especially when mountains and remote places are involved.

A few of my more unexpected interests: I’m a licensed radio amateur, love flying drones, enjoy shooting sports, and occasionally follow regional drift races and MMA (like FNC). Life’s too interesting to stick to one thing only.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really keep a strict list, but I’m drawn to books and films that leave a mark — something that makes you pause, reflect, or just see the world a bit differently.

Books: I often reach for philosophy and psychology — from thinkers like Marcus Aurelius and Viktor Frankl to modern authors exploring the mind and meaning. I also enjoy nature-based narratives or travel-inspired stories that blend introspection with adventure.

Movies & Documentaries: I enjoy thoughtful films, indie storytelling, and documentaries about nature, science, or human behavior. Not really into mindless action — unless it has good drift scenes or climbing shots!

Music: My playlist shifts with the mood. Lately, it’s been a lot of mellow, instrumental, and melodic sounds — Khruangbin, ambient jazz, indie with groove, or soft electronic like melodic house. Something that flows but leaves space for thought.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to choose one — maybe sleeping under the stars after a long alpine climb, completely off-grid and in silence. Or hosting someone I had never met and ending up having one of the best conversations in months. It’s usually the small, unplanned moments that turn out to be the most amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can show you a few knots, how to use a map and compass, basics of rock climbing, or even how to fly a drone. And if you’re into code, I can talk a bit about web development.
Learn: I’m always open to new perspectives — whether it's a different way of seeing life, a new recipe, or a few words in a language I don’t speak.
Share: Time, stories, coffee, laughter, silence — whatever fits the moment.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good energy, curiosity, and respect. I don’t expect to be entertained or guided around, but if you're up for a conversation or a walk, I’ll gladly join. I always try to leave a place better than I found it — even if it’s just through a small gesture or a shared story.
