Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, I’m now studying mechanical engineering at Auburn University. For work, I repair plane parts as an engineering intern in Georgia. I also create geospatial aviation software for Boeing’s T-7A plane and design 3D models for NASA’s next generation rockets through an Auburn internship. I'm always active in campus clubs, currently serving as the President of Auburn's Astronomical Society, the Vice President of the Entrepreneurship Society, and the Secretary of the Culinary Club.

I do a lot of tech stuff, but I'm an outdoorsman and nomad at heart. I have a serious wanderlust and want to experience as much of the world as possible. I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and doing almost anything outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I initially got on Couchsurfing to meet new people in Hawaii and find some cheap housing for as long as I could. It couldn’t have gone better. The community here is so welcoming and fascinating. Everyone is from somewhere else in the world, yet we’re already on the same page. I’m so happy to have met the people I did, and I certainly plan to do more of this nomadic travel soon. For now I’m back at college, but I would love to share some of the generosity I experienced on my travels. If you need a place to stay, I’ve got a couch for ya :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past summer, I used couchsurfing for the first time to backpack and hitchhike my way around the Hawaiian islands for 5 weeks!!
