Jim is retired, recently had triple bypass heart surgery in 2015

Norma is still working part-time, and we welcomed our FIRST grandchild, a baby girl, in August 2015.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My family has hosted three exchange students, from Sweden, Germany and Indonesia, many years ago. We then foster parented about 15 kids over a 2-3 year span.
We/I have travelled to Italy, hitch-hiked from Amsterdam to the Southern tip of Spain and back in the 70's
We have been to Jakarta, and Bali, and all over the US.

Jim was an exchange student to Lima, Peru during college. Italy as a 15 yr old!
