My mission is really just to go places, meet people, and do things all on a tight budget.

ABOUT ME

computers are my life these days. Despite being a marine I'm actually not that macho. I'm not a sports fan and I know almost nothing about cars. I used to play guitar and a bit of base, but haven't really found much time since I enlisted a few years ago. These days I spend most of my time reading, studying, browsing Imgur, messing with my rubik's cubes, and playing the occasional computer game.
I'm about as open and straightforward as it gets, if you want to know all you have to do is ask.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. If someone isn't hurting you, you better have real good reason for bothering them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty self sufficient, give me a bed/couch/patch of floor, a hot shower, and maybe the occasional conversation and I'm a happy guy. Really anything past that is icing on cake, and honestly I'm not terribly social and I'm more than accustomed to sleeping in my jeep.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on a lot of couches, but normally they're at least people I know. I'm pretty trusting and love to pick up hitchhikers. (They have the best stories.) But really I've never done anything quite like this.

Interessen

I like pie. Honestly though, I covered most of this in my "all about me" section. I like guitar, computers, Rubik's cubes, the internet, cartoons, and most things nerdy.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I've honestly not seen many movies, but enjoy ones with a good story. On music, I prefer classic rock, punk rock, alt rock, the occasional dubstep or EDM, really if it isn't gangster rap I'm probably good with it. I like most kinds of books, but typically stick with things like the Dresden Files, Harry Potter, the Dragonlance books, Ender's Game, and things of that nature.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

While aboard the USS BOnhomme-Richard I snorted a line of watermelon amino acids for 1000 yen, that I used to pay off a MA3 (navy cop) to steal some metal security tags, that I traded to a Tech from the BLT (Battalion Landing Team) for a fistful of HUB's (special batteries)to put in our radio's to keep comm up on the ship. This was en-route to conduct amphibious operation in the Australian Outback.

The military, computers, how to solve a Rubik's cube (it's really not that hard). I know a lot of random things about a lot of things and I always want to know more.
