I am a tech entrepreneur that created VChain ProActive, a Global Simulation Learning Platform for Supply Chain. I spent 6 years raising capital in Austin but was not able to raise enough to launch our technology. We decided to move the company back to Silicon Valley to continue to raise launch capital. As part of the transition, I decided to do my first road trip across the US visiting cities such as Denver, St George, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and eventually on to San Francisco.

I am new to couch surfing. I learned about this site through my travel mate who is traveling with me but heading on to Oregon as his final destination. I purchased a vehicle for the road trip but turned out I purchased a lemon. The car has had mechanical issues since driving off the lot 3 months ago. I have had to replace 3 tires,4 brakes, emergency brake, fuel pump, battery, water hoses, thermostat and most recently the wheel axle broke in Las Vegas causing more than $2500 dollars in additional repairs. I decided this was the last straw and reached out to my dealer to surrender the car back because they sold me a lemon. This decision has left me and my travel mate stranded in the desert of Las Vegas. Giving my limited financial resources, my travel mate suggested we seek a place to stay for a few days through Couchsurfing. It has been an amazing experience and great enhancement to my friend base with the new community of travelers I have met during this time. I am a firm believer and plan to offer a similar setup once I complete my travel. At first I thought the series of problems would run my vacation but instead it brought me to a new community of travelers and great hospitality. I am now seeking a similar setup in LA. We will be there for 1 week and would like to make arrangements to stay using the couchsurfing app.

I am a military veteran. Spent 12 years in the Armed Forces as a Field Artillery Officer. I served in peace keeping missions in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Our Task Force captured Slobadon Milosevic and brought to trail for war crimes for the Srebrenica Massacre.
