HI! I'm James!
I’m British, born and raised in Spain!
I have been travelling around the world for over two years now. It has been the experience of a lifetime. I cannot express how grateful i am to have had this opportunity but it is now reaching its end. But before it does, I have one last destination that Ive been dreaming of.. Japan! This has been on the top of my list since I could remember. I am fascinated by Japanese culture, art, food etc. I want to immerse myself in it. Not to stay in hotels and visit the typical tourist spots but to see what it’s like to live in Japan. For this reason i am turning to couch surfing for the first time. I would love to stay with locals around the country and have a genuine cultural exchange, and maybe tell a story or two of my two years on the road!

I am very open minded and super interested in meeting new people in order to see different ways of living.
I would also say that I am very respectful of peoples spaces and belongings.

If anyone here can offer me a home/bed/sofa/ or even a space on their floor I would be so grateful.
