Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a wonderful experience couchsurfing on my trip back to Australia. I met some truly terrific people and made connections in a way that can be difficult when traveling solo. I'd like to continue making these connections in my future travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Corinne Bailey Rae, The Carpenters, Whitney Houston, Sade, Mya, Ting Tings, Regina Spektor Books: This one is harder. I work at a library. XD It's easier to talk about what authors I enjoy than specific books almost. Movies: Dramas, period pieces, horror, classics like "Singin' in the Rain".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Stonehenge in England was pretty incredible and something I'll never forget. The island of Kauai in Hawaii is probably the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love talking about books, films and music. I'm sure this is beyond stereotypical on this site, but also enjoy learning about subtle differences in culture and other people's upbringing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be happy to help cook meals (not the most experienced cook, but I make a mean omelette and a couple of tasty pasta dishes pretty well 😊) and help with cleaning, errands etc. Also, of course, friendship and conversation.
