CURRENT MISSION

I am on a mission to fully understand what I need to do with my hands to be a great personal success in this world. The American "dream" is no dream of mine, a different reality is what I seek.

ABOUT ME

I feel like I was born way after my time. Social media, smart phones, being plugged in constantly just isn't for me. I utilize these things because I'm forced to in order to be on an even playing field, well no more! I can't do the 9-5 and then come home to a house I'm in debt up to my eyebrows to live in, with a car I can't afford and a wife and family that are just as stressed as I am. Granted, I have none of those things, but the general idea is that I am done working towards a dream that isn't my own. The tricky part is that I really don't have any tangible dreams or aspirations, I just feel a stirring need in my gut to drop everything and just go. Walk, run, swim, drive, fly, tunnel, teleport, whatever it takes to get somewhere else. I'm not looking for greener grass, I just need to know what's on the other side.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know why I live my life. I am blessed in many ways, but I am unable to enjoy any part of my existence right now. So, off I go, to figure myself out.

Interests

Sports! I love sports, but I need to be involved, I'm not the watching type. It seems my body has an internal clock for adventure, every couple of years I just need to leave. People, I want to meet them all, and hear all of their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of country music! Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and Toby Keith are all a big part of my thirst for people who sing about a better, simpler way of life. Second is Big Band and Swing type music. I learned to swing dance a while back and have been hooked every since. It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. Lastly, but this one should be first, is my love of Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley. Three kings that should never be forgotten.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've seen is the people who live their lives in the valleys of Afghanistan. The way they live, where they live, and what they deal with in terms of daily hardships. It was a sobering experience to say the least.

I'm not sure what I can offer someone in the realm of me teaching them, but you never know, I'm a wealth of atypical knowledge.
