I want to see as much of the world as I can before I kick da bucket.
I'm a pretty laid back sort of guy, also a bit of a nerd. I don't like taking life very seriously which has sometimes caused me some difficulty but things have always worked themselves out in the end.
I'm probably too young to have a personal philosophy. I've experienced so little. I guess the closest thing I can say here is, don't sweat the small stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Too early to tell I just joined. :V
I enjoy wandering around, sitting in bustling city centres watching life go by, and I also enjoy a good pint of fermented grain juice. When I'm inside I enjoy wasting hours playing videos games with my pals.
Music, Movies, and Books
As far as movies and music go I'm a big fan of the 80's. I enjoy a lot of 80's rock and anything with a lot of 80's cheesiness. For movies I enjoy comedies mostly, anything with John Candy, and sci-fi stuff like Star Wars, Star Trek.
As for books I enjoy mostly sci-fi/fantasy stuff. William Gibson, Orson Scott Card, Frank Herbert, Tolkien. That sort of thing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably the coolest thing I've seen was the opening ceremonies for the 2010 winter olympics in Vancouver, my home town. They were doing a lottery of sorts to determine who would be able to buy tickets and I was fortunate enough to have my name drawn. Even from the nosebleed section it was a really great show and something I'll always remember.
I'll add more to this list when I've finished my trip. :V
