About Me
CURRENT MISSION
keep my head above water
ABOUT ME
Originally from England but most recently spent my time living in Sydney, Australia. Originally went out there in Jan 2010 with the intention of traveling up the gold coast and everywhere else but ended up staying in Sydney for the duration!
My most recent housemates would describe me as easy, fun loving and someone easy to talk & relate to. I'm friendly & open minded.
PHILOSOPHY
Never stop searching
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking for a couch to surf and to share my experiences with others, and for them to share with me. Life is all about people and I'd like to meet as many as possible within this lifetime.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never actually couch surfed as yet however in my previous place we had a couch surfers stay with us on a weekly basis- at one point we had ten staying with us with the five tenants already living there! Hectic but fun.
Interests
As far as interests I'd say they're pretty simple; I love meeting new people and discovering new places.
In a regular working routine week I usually spend my evenings just chilling out at home, perhaps cooking for a friend or even catching up over dinner out somewhere. At the weekends I'm praying for good weather so I can make the most of the day (go to markets, hit the beach) and then in the evenings I like to go out and usually start off having drinks with friends/at a dinner party, sometimes ending the night at a club or at a house party... but mainly it's the company you keep that is important, not necessarily where you are.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm currently studying a degree in Film Production so it would be hard to say what my favourite films are, but generally a fan of film & TV (Walking Dead, RuPaul's DR, Reality TV/ The Face). My music collection is quite eclectic, and as far as books I don't often have the time to read many but one of my favourites is A Handmaid's Tale by Margret Atwood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing trip I've been on thus far is Vietnam, South-east Asia.
I really enjoyed all the places we went to however one specific trip to Halong Bay is something I will always remember. The most beautiful scenery and the most amazing sunset I've seen in my life! Spent with some amazing people from all different parts of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
All of the above is important.
