ABOUT ME

Hi. How are you? Lovely. Here's a little about me:

I'm 23 and I'm a freelance musician (accordionist/percussionist) living in London. I also do theatre work, hopping between performing & directing plus some occasional acting (at the moment, mostly stage managing/zombie herding)

I'm originally from Guernsey, which is a tiny island of the coast of France.. and I've lived in many different cities and places over the last few years so very adaptable to different environments/cultures.

I also occasionally busk in a folk/comedy trio and sometimes do street performance/live art in London, plus touring. I have no plan career wise, as it's epicly hard to make it in the performance industry, but I'm going to try and enjoy trying.

My personality can range from chilled out and friendly to very spontaneous/random/crazy.. I love doing things in the moment and enjoying little things. I'm very open minded too, so If I'm visiting a city I'm happy to be taken off to crazy, fun places and meet people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to host anyone as long as you're friendly/fun, with a nice dose of crazy. I live in a very open house with some really lovely people so if you're looking to get the most out of London then i recommend dropping me a message.

I also occasionally surf either when touring with bands or on one of my many crazy adventures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Done a similar thing in LA a few years ago, which I really enjoyed. I've previously surfed when touring Germany with a band playing Accordion Met lots of lovely people and it's a great way of seeing other parts of the city. I recommend surfing in Hamburg/Berlin! I'm also a regular airbnb'er and I live in a warehouse in London, so we regular have people stay over.

I've got quite an eclectic music taste, love anything from indie/electronica, to metal, to Musical theatre. Can be quite spontaneous. I'm fairly heavily involved in immersive theatre and I'm a regular busker. Some other interests include:

Busking, making instruments, festivals, theme parks, theatre, films, art, street performance, gigs, pizza, Jazz, drumming, dancing when nobody's watching, procrastinating and tea. Lots of tea.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I've got a very eclectic music taste; love jazz, funk, blues, electronica, indie, motown, classical, latin, reggae, musicals, film music, gospel, live band hip-hop, pop, metal, post-rock, cabaret and soul. I love watching live music.

I recently got into some spoken word/slam poetry and strongly recommend checking out Kate Tempest. Incredibly live/passionate poet.

I love watching films too, favourites being Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Rocky Horror Show, Milk, Juno and Hook to name a few..

I also love theatre, especially musicals. I've worked on a range of projects from puppet operas to experimental/live art and very passionate about immersive theatre.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I once thought I saw two pigeons mating, but then the pigeon on top picked up the other pigeon and flew off. Not sure if it was an attempt into the mile high club or some bizarre pigeon thing.. but that was pretty amazing. I don't think that's what the site meant by 'amazing' ... but it made my day significantly better at the time.
