I'm an easy-going 29 year old Australian doing some travel around Europe at the moment. I'm hoping to meet some friendly, new people while I explore some nice places.

At home my main focus is working in the music industry, where I produce underground electronic music events and DJ around town - admittedly.. music is a bit of an obsession ; )

I love to spend quality time with friends, which can include cooking a nice meal, sharing some laughs, and a night out here and there is always fun.

I'm clean, tidy and respectful of peoples space and I make a genuine effort to be a conscientious guest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting local people when I travel and I find that couch surfing is the best way to make new connections explore local communities. Its a wonderful model based on the basics of sharing and reciprocity which I think is why so many people connect with this way of travel.

Interests

I love art, culture, music and creativity generally. I also love to explore nature. So anything from galleries to hiking is a good time.

I also like nightlife. Oh, and music. I have a lot of vinyl records and a little studio at home where i make some sounds. I also promote and produce electronic music events around Sydney.

I love to cook as well and enjoy trying new foods - another major pleasure of travelling! Coffee is good too. Australians are a bit coffee obsessed

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music - dub, hip-hop, folk, ambient, drum n bass, jazz, you name it. My focus as an artist however is electronic club music, like house & techno.

My favourite books include the 1984 (dystopian literature, yes please), The Omnivore's Dilema by Michael Pollen, anything by Alain De Botton, lots of other Philosophy (I studied Philosophy at Uni).

For movies directors I like include Martin Scorsese, Luc Besson, Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrik, Spike Lee and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When i was younger I was very into down-hill skateboarding and would ride down hills at 80 Kilometres and hour on a skateboard (wearing lots of protective gear!) - ahh the bravery (?) of youth

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to share stories and a nice meal (and luckily the two go together quite nicely!). I love to cook for my hosts when I'm a guest and would be really happy to make one of my favourite meals.
