Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a postgraduate student, we get paid peanuts, but we do it for the love of science an our work.
But!
Not only that, but going to a new country I don't want to just lay by the sea and enjoy the sun (although it is nice to see the sun, it has been so long since we've seen the sun in the UK), I want to experience what a country is really like. Love like a local for a few days.
Also I love meeting new people

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I will be amazed if I ever finish writing my thesis and get my PhD.

Other slightly odd things would be:
Hitch hiking to Paris for charity or the time I was on a British game show called scrap heap challenge.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm more than happy to be used as practice for anyone learning English. But you have to promise to teach me a few phrases too (I tend to enjoy nonsense phrases or swear words)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a pretty good cook and would happily cook a meal for my host, I'd love to try and share a bit of my home whilst I'm sharing yours.

Also, if we arrange to meet before I leave the Uk, I'd happily bring a uk themed gift.
