Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a single favourite film, but among my top 10 are The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty (mostly for the cinematography) and Apollo 13. More recently, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Intouchables (the French film released in 2011, not the 80s movie with Kevin Costner).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(2013) I have seen the man who sits in front of the Cathedral in Strasbourg, France, who plays a mandolin and sings in falsetto voice. I cannot express in words the beauty of his music. UPDATE (2014) He has since become famous and successful and I now know his name. Luc Arbogast - check him out!

I have travelled fairly extensively around Europe by train (InterRail), and would be happy to share my experiences with anyone who was planning a similar adventure.
