ABOUT ME

I am nailed to an office chair 5 days a week. I'm extremely outgoing and adventurous and I don't get upset by very much. I'm always out of the house in the summer, playing ultimate frisbee, biking or sitting on a patio enjoying a nice cold pint. I have interests right across the board and feel I can have a good conversation with anyone, from anywhere.

PHILOSOPHY

I have no time for negativity. I'm always smiling and love making others smile with either a joke or a comment. I just wanna make good memories every day and see the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted many people in past apartments, unfortunately now, I have the worlds smallest couches because they wouldn't fit in my new apartment. I have only surfed once in Munich, Germany, but it was a great experience. I hope to stay at more places in the near future and I hope I can host more as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had quiet guests who wanna just get some rest and see the sites Calgary has to offer and I have had loud guests who just wanna party and I'm happy to oblige either. I've woken up early to explore and I've partied in my living room all night long. All my experiences have been great.

Interessen

I like everything and I'm easily entertained. No matter where I am, if there's interesting or exciting people there I'll likely have a good time. I like to do a little bit of everything and I'm always up for something new. Specifics? I like beer, dining out, sports, the outdoors and traveling (Unique right?)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like kung-fu, rom-com and horror movies. I listen to mostly heavy metal and punk rock, but have a soul music record collection. I'm not much of a book reader, but read the news daily.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Wasserschlacht Berlin 2008. This is an annual "water fight" on a bridge separating Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg. I accidentally stumbled upon it with some other back packers and was blown away by the two armies hucking rotten food back and forth at each other in full cardboard/plastic armor. The battle raged on, chants and cheers coming from both sides. I've never seen anything like it and I'm sure most people haven't. If you wanna see it for yourself, it usually happens the last Sunday of July.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I enjoy meeting people with accents and learning their sayings and slang. Picking up mannerisms and quirks is something I do unintentionally. I'm just observant by nature, so anyone different than me is intriguing.
