ABOUT ME

I end up asking questions when there is silence in conversation. There are many different reactions to this.

This often makes me seem very 'serious', though, I don't think I am a particularly 'serious' person. I have, in a way, a very basic and simple, but also complex sense of humor. I guess this is just a stemming from a general philosophy of mine: everything is infinitely serious as well as infinitely funny, and to territorialize either as a delineated entity usually seems very bizarre, and ultimately very funny to me. And so too are all things infinitely simple and infinitely complex. I'm not sure why people separate things like that…?

There is beauty and humor in all of these things.

Most anything between Hildegard to Aaron Cassidy (Bach, Beethoven, Webern, Varése, Boulez, Stockhausen, Miles, Coltrane and Mingus fit in there somewhere?), though probably whatever is playing at the moment.
