Yoga, meditation, reading, binge watching netflix and partying are all lovely things to do. I love nature and continually find myself outside getting involved in everything I can from rock climbing to skiing to hiking to swimming and everything in between. I recently quit my job and have been traveling as much as possible. Next on my journey will be a cross country road trip with my brother in which I hope to meet as many new and wonderful people as possible and see as any national parks as we can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and I love to meet new people, like minded or otherwise. I would rather spend time with the locals of a place rather than visit a museum about it. But I like museums too! My brother and I are also about to embark on a trip across America and we want it to be filled with as many new and wonderful people as possible.

Interests

The human condition never ceases to amaze me. I love reading up on psychology and human behavior. Ill never shy away from a philosophical debate. Exercise and health are hugely important to me and a passion of mine. Yet, I can never turn down a good party no matter how unhealthy staying up all night may be. I love music but am still working on learning an instrument. I love laughing, telling jokes, being the center of attention and am intrigued by the power of positivity.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Satire and existentialism so Kurt Vonnegut, Bill Bryson and Douglas Adams are some of my favorite authors just to name a few. However I love a good classic adventure like The Count of Monte Cristo or some Sci-Fi like Enders Game. All time favorite music is probably Alternative Rock. Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon... etc. However, I truly enjoy almost any genre, except I struggle with hip hop and Death Metal. Favorite movie is probably I Heart Huckabees but I can get into most types of movies. Action, adventure, mind scramblers, Rom-Coms, comedies, stand up routines. I love it all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swallowed fire during my travels to Thailand as an audience member to a fire show! Lips are still intact.
