Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was in high school I read Blue Highways and I've always had a romantic sense of the road and traveling.
We also have a fairly big place so it's nice to offer a safe and comfortable space to people passing through. In the last couple of years we have had visitors from Belgium, Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and China (in addition to our US travelers). Even when the conversations are brief it's been great to meet people from so many diverse places.
I haven't regretted meeting a single person from couchsurfers, it's a great community!
