Overview
About Me
Over the years I've traveled a lot and never get tired of it - I prefer to get away from the tourist routes and find the normal way of life for people in other countries.
I spent five years living in Italy, working for a non profit organisation, then one year in Costa Rica; and visiting friends in various countries of central america.
Since then I have spent 6 months living and travelling in a van through France, Spain and back to England, Scotland and Wales.
Now I'm working again and trying to maintain travels at the same time :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The reason I travel and host is to meet real people from around the world and learn about their experiences and culture. Often I find I have an impression in my mind of a place which always changes when I travel and talk with locals.
I've been lucky enough to make friends all around the world and so usually have a place to stay and people to travel and explore with. I also love to show my friends and new people the places I live and have come to known - especially the areas away from the normal tourist routes - the small, special or unique places I found when wandering....
