More, new and better experiences
Got into travelling following the example of 2 friends, guess it's becoming my way of life now...?!?
We all want the best emotional experience we can get. That's what we live for and it can bring everyone together. The challenge is figuring out the best way to get it...
So I guess hedonism, but including helping others or learning or relaxation as hedonistic activities... Hmm.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I'm travelling, but one day I will start hosting to reciprocate the Couchsurfing spirit :)
Ive been couchsurfing since November 2012, it's the best way to travel.
Enjoying time with people, personal development, good conversation (especially with good food and drink), new experiences, dancing when I'm in the mood, adrenaline rushes, exercise, mindfulness, skydiving.
- womens rights
- scuba diving
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two weeks trekking in Nepal, six days dirt biking in North Vietnam, Skydiving, scuba diving, teaching English in Ukraine to 5 year olds and dancing gangnam style with them. Living with a Vietnamese family with only one English speaking family member. The most beautiful social moments come from empathy.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a good English teacher and speak some Vietnamese. I know Vietnam and Ukraine fairly well having lived there.
I have some strong opinions on feminism, gender roles and sexuality, having been to countries with very different views on the matter
I have more strong opinions on philosophy, including those who place money and material wealth as most important (wronggggggg)
I want to inform others about the topic of sociopathy, a topic in psychology that affects everyone but very few people know about it.
I can share a lot I've learned about personal development and how malleable we are
I can teach a little bit of salsa... I need to start dancing again
