ABOUT ME

I am a witty funny guy who enjoys living life to the fullest. I have a big family and have always loved people from the start. I I love tennis hiking camping and pretty much anything that is sporty or involves an adventure. I love to laugh at a good joke and love making others laugh! Seeing the world has recently become a passion and is one that I hope to continue to do in the future!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to do pause each day and remember where I am and what I have. Too often it is so easy to travel to a place for more than a week and begin to take it for granted. If you pause constantly to think about the blessings in your life and the environment and people around you, it will make for so much more of an enjoyable time. I live my life to serve God and to live this life to the fullest. Testing my comfort levels, being bold, and just saying YES are some of the most fun things I have ever done.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to be just as much ivolved in the process as anyone else. Teach me some words, I will use them and think im fluent. I love swapping expressions and trying new accents. Ill buy you a lunch or help clean up the house. Im no bum on the couch and will do my best to help you out as much as you help me out! A lil manual labor never hurt!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my flight to Australia just a few days ago, I met a wonderful couple from the Gold Coast and after talking to them for a bit and getting to know them they offered a stay at their place which my friend and I graciously accepted. They were great and both my friend and I had an amazing time. But using this site.. None yet! But looking forward to getting started soon! My brother did it in Singapore and loved it a lot so I figured I would give it a try!

I enjoy anything that involves outdoor activity! I love being in the sunshine and seeing everything under it. I'm interested in my friends my family my faith and my future. I love dogs and most animals for that matter. Finance is my current pursuit of study in college and I hope to work in the stock market industry soon!

Music is such a big part of my life, I can literally listen to anything but some country and be completely happy. Favorite genres though are classics, rap, r+b, and the Coldplay style . Movies and TV shows are a must. If you’ve heard of it, chances are ive watched it. Favorite current show is Game of Thrones, Shameless, and Suits. All amazing. Favorite movie gotta be The Shawshank Redemption or the Fast and Furious series, I know, cheesy, but I love cars haha. Favorite books, gotta be Hatchet or The Grapes of Wrath, such compelling and vivid stories.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Neither words nor pictures can adaquetly enough describe the things ive done, seen, and felt in my time around the world. I always try to tell people though about climbing the tallest mountain in SE Asia. Mount Kinabalu in Borneo. Hiking up the face to the summit at 3AM and arriving before sunrise was such a surreal and breathtaking experience. Being above the clouds as the sun set was also another one for the books. The temples in Cambodia will take your breath away almost as much as the kindness and friendliness of the people living there. Meeting people and making friends from all over the world has been so rewarding and opened up my eyes to things I would never get a chance to do elsewhere. Diving in the Philippines with my new German friend and seeing the sharks was insane. Driving motorbikes through the craziest city in the world, Ho Chi Minh was mindblowing. Giving food to natives living in the Jungles of the Cameron Highlands will never be forgotten and the list could just go on and on. I cannot wait to continue to make more memories and my life continues on.

I love to do all of these things. Teach me something cool, and ill show it off for the rest of my life. I love sharing stories and learning about others while they learn about me and my experiences. Im always happy to help someone eat healthier or workout harder and love to be a great motivator with my experience there. Teach me something too! I want to learn!
