ABOUT ME

My name is James Eisner. I'm 24 years old and from the UK. I've always taken an interest in the arts and throughout my education always leant towards more practical and creative subjects. I received my degree in Product Design from the University of Plymouth in 2010 and have since chosen to explore what I can of the world! I love to be outdoors (a realisation that has only come to me over the last few years!) and couldn't be happier than when I am in the mountains. Skiing and most recently Climbing/Mountaineering are my favourite sports when I'm able to make time for them, otherwise I love to skateboard, draw, read and hang out with friends. I'll try most things once and I'm pretty open minded when it comes to differences in religion/beliefs and culture.

PHILOSOPHY

I attempt to follow my passions and not allow money to become my motivation for making choices. I try to live honestly, but I am only human and I don't always take the actions that I wish I had done.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a new member myself to couch surfing however whilst in New Zealand I lived with several people who where members and regularly hosted couch surfers at our house. It was great to meet such a diverse range of people and show them around where we live and the places we most enjoy. I finished my year in NZ with an awesome road trip, travelling from Queenstown through to Christchurch via the Catlins, sharing the car with a couple of couch surfers and being hosted by a couple in Dunedin. This experience really highlighted to me the wonders of being a part of this great community.
