Nice guy, happily married with a young son. Been living in Thailand since 2004. Enjoy sports, drinking and relaxing with the family.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is what it's all about. I gave up a good life in the west in search of a quieter, simpler life... and I have nearly found it. Still looking to do a job that I would 'do for free'... teaching english is fun, but it can get tiresome.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a spare room in a really nice, quiet house in the countryside located just outside a nice, quiet town in northern Thailand.

My wife is a stay home mum, so clearly couples / single women / pair women are preferable.

Wouldn't call it amazing... but basically just quit life in the west. Left the good job, nice girl, expensive flat , all to come out to Asia and do something more fulfilling with my life... I guess 'brace/stupid' would be more accurate... "amazing'sounds far too Hollywoodian!
