About Me

I'm currently studying abroad in Qingdao, China. I'm on this foreign exchange to improve my Chinese as well as to complete one of my Major requirements. I study international business Marketing and Chinese. I'm a very open minded person and love to explore what the world has go offer. I like to challenge the social norms of society, but am also very respectful of traditional culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel it's a great way to meet locals and who knows the city you're traveling to better than a local ? I imagine it's a much more invigorating experience than a hotel. I haven't got to couch surf yet but I know it's in my future.

Interests

Visual arts (I prefer impressionism as well as modern works) , music (everything from EDM to Chopin), but most importantly food. I love good food. I will try anything once and love a good challenge. I am really into street fashion and urban culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite author is Murakami Haruki and my favourite book is The Windup bird Chronicle. As for movies I love a good scare.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some American Culture and English Language. I also happen to live with Vietnamese people back in the United stated and have become quite familiar with their culture and language as well. I can cook some Vietnamese favorites as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Socialization, good conversation, I'd love to sit and have a beer. I'm an overall chill person and am easy to get along with. I like exploring quirky urban bars and restaurants, things you can experience nowhere else.
