About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world in search of the beautiful souls I know exist in every corner of the planet and make friends with them.

ABOUT ME

An adventurous soul who is trying to see the world a little bit at a time without turning down any opportunities to be a part of cultures in their rawest form. I am currently living in an off grid earth bag home that I made almost entirely out of dirt on the border of Mexico in Terlingua TX. When I'm not there I am living in my van traveling or backpacking somewhere in the world. I truly enjoy traveling outside of the states backpacking, volunteering, and just enjoying the large world outside of my small home town of Kingston N.H. I spent four months in Central America and found people from all over the world who had a broader knowledge about and had travelled to more places than I had within my own home country. This has been a major motivation to my traveling lifestyle and has pushed me outside of the narrow minded box that many of us North Americans are peering out of. I'm kind and considerate to all walks of life and hope that it shows in the way that I walk this earth.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind to others and let others just be

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I take in whoever is in need of a place to crash because no matter who or what people appear to be on the outside, it is always more exciting to find out who they really are on the inside.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been cross country in the states and have stayed with some great cats who's experiences made me want to surf the entire world.

Interests

I love to do anything out doors. Hiking, surfing, skiing, snow boarding, mountain biking, climbing, etc. I also enjoy great exotic foods and live music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived with a host family in Guatemala and traveled throughout Central America staying in random homes and Hostels meeting natives and travelers from all over the world. The land scapes and people were more wonderful than my wildest imagination.I've slept on dirt floors, showered in front of strangers with a bucket and a bar of soap, pulled a 5 foot shark onto a 14 foot boat, danced (or tried to) to every different local tallent, surfed waves in El Salvador far beyond my ability, hiked to the top of a volcano and roasted marshmallows, free dove 20 feet to grab fish trap for my Belizian friends after they pointed out a 4 foot Barracuda, sat on the roof top of a hostel in Antigua, Guatemala on Christmas Eve and watched fire works go off 360 degrees around me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn that there are people out there who want to become friends with complete strangers with no agenda attatched, have the desire to share their life experiences, love, and compassion for all things good.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a bit of my life story, my ability to cook and clean, my carpentry and painting experience for little projects around the house that need to get done, and my compassion for all hosts kind enough to take me in.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Laos, Mexico, Thailand, Viet Nam
