我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Through May, I will be primarily a couchsurfer while traveling around New Zealand, Australia and Asia. Once I am back home, I definitely plan to switch roles and be the one offering a place to crash on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand new at formal couchsurfing via this website but informally, since my high school days and before this website, I have couchsurfed loads at friends' or friends of friends' houses over the years and learned early on how to be a good guest.

Music: anything really. Can definitely appreciate rock, alternative, hip hop, country, heavy metal, pop, and without a doubt almost all foreign songs. From Coldplay to Regina Spektor to the Beatles to Metallica to Bruce Springsteen to Chinese / Asian pop to Latin grooves to African beats...as long as it sounds good!

After being pick-pocketed in Amsterdam, I personally recovered my wallet from the thief and even managed an apology out of him.

Folks that know me want me to write a book about my life. It has been quite a ride encompassing so many facets of life, from thorny family situations to high echelons of education to health scares. You name it! Happy to impart whatever is of interest/help.
