Since first taking a spontaneous trip to New Zealand in 2013, I have not looked back. The road has taken me from the wilds of the Yukon to the quaint streets of Rouen, France. Along the way I’ve been lucky to have met and shared this journey with some amazing people who inspired me and who continue to inspire me.

I like to keep active and enjoy hiking and cycling, as well as photography. I enjoy meeting new people, both locals and fellow travellers and discovering new places and new cultures.

I am always looking for the next challenge.

I like to experience the places I see through the people I meet; Couchsurfing has been an amazing way to meet other travellers and the people who live there and want to share it.
I hope to have the opportunity to pay it forwards.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While in New Zealand on a ferry to the South Island with nowhere to stay, I made a friend on the crossing. He gave me a tour of the Marlborough Sound as we passed, a meal and a bed for the night and the warmest welcome. I will never forget this random act of kindness and hope to live by his example.

Musica, film e libri

I have a broadening taste in music; from rock to reggae and much in-between. I listen to what inspires me and makes me feel in the moment.

I enjoy reading and could never narrow it down to a favorite. Some of the best books I have read recently are; 'On the road' by Jack Kerouac, 'Silent Spring' by Rachel Carson, 'Wild' by Cheryl Strayed and 'The Golden Spruce' by John Vaillant.

Completed a ten day solo hike through the Australian bush and beautiful coastline, finishing at the Twelve Apostles.
