To expand the confines of cultural identity by experiencing the world and learning/teaching as much as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm 34 and have spent the last 11 years living on the west coast of Japan, along the Sea of Japan. This isn't your Tokyo or Osaka, but it's beautiful and I really like it. I have hosted a number of people who dared to venture all the way out to these parts, and I have traveled rather extensively around Japan and Asia.

The purpose of life is to be happy, and that should be followed. With the direction the earth seems to be going, who knows if life will ever be as good later as it is now, so I say take advantage of the present, don't sit around doing something you despise because of future security and a payoff down the road. Get out, see the world (it will make you a bigger and better person) and live!

Most of my CouchSurfing experiences have been hosting, which have been amazing, introducing me to many interesting folks from around the world. I hope to surf more myself, which I plan to get on soon!
