CURRENT MISSION

We are travelling around South America and Asia for the next year!! Arrived in Columbia, Feb 3rd 2014

ABOUT ME

So after travelling South America and having quite the adventure, I am moving on to Africa. There I will be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and then onto South Africa. This part of the trip I was not originally doing but unfortunately in South America I became ill and missed Peru and the Machu Picchu climb. Due to this I decided to go to Africa. From Africa I head to Mumbai, India and work across to New Delhi. This part I am really looking forward to as the culture is just incredible. From there I fly to Japan and again this is something that really excites me. So much to do I cant wait. I then fly to China and work my way all the way down to Bali where I have a flight to Oz waiting for me. Again this part of Asia is going to be incredible and really exciting. Once in Oz, 9 months later I meet my mum, where we hit Perth and Melbourne before 4 weeks in NZ. My mum has always wanted to go to NZ and I thought it would be a nice thing to do as she would not have seen me in 9 months. From there it will be home and back to London, where I will have my couch available when I can for other travellers.

You have one life, so live it. The whole reason for this trip is to embrace new cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have met alot of people so far who have recommended this website and it seems like such a great way to meet people but also to learn about the local area and cultures that are not necessarily in the guide books. I am a chatty outgoing male who wishes to meet people and hopefully return the favour in London.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Brazil, when the world cup was on and it was great fun. It was a wicked way to meet people and I hope to continue and meet people on this next part of my trip.

Interests

I am a keen sport fans and love to watch football! I love seeing new places and trying new things! I love trying new food and going to restaurants and bars. I am a big socialite and will always be up for meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling around South America and being in Brazil for the world cup was absolutely incredible. I have had a mad 7 months and the next 11 months are no doubt going to be just as good.
