About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To fulfill whatever reason I was put here for.

ABOUT ME

I like wandering around. I love being at home, comfortable with friends and family, but it doesn't take too long for the wanderlust to set in. I'm pretty bad at making plans though -- nearly all of my trips are last minute! Apologies if I message you trying to find a couch for the next day. Got me in trouble with Canadian Border Patrol once: was just looking to drive across the border to spend some time in Vancouver and they DID NOT like the fact that I had no plans, no hotel, no friends I was traveling toward. Mostly I'm a chill guy just looking to drive around!

PHILOSOPHY

Maybe life is meaningless, but the fact is that we're here. Let's make the most of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New to CS (obviously). I haven't traveled that much around that world, probably am not as interesting as the many very international people around the site! But I'd love to meet some people on the road and (if you come to Gilroy) at home. If I come around your town, hang out with me for a drink?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet. Looking forward to it though!

Interests

Traveling, road trips, board games, hiking, water sports. Silly movies?

Music, Movies, and Books

Memento, Fight Club, Dark Knight Rises, Terminator 2, X-Men: First Class, Fast Five, many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove a campervan into a ditch in Australia. Was towed out by a man who stopped for us in the middle of the night, who kind of looked like a rabbit and acted like he was tripping on acid. He took us home and gave us gas. Oz people are awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

Haha um. I went to grad school for toxicology so I can bore you about a lot of things re: pathogens and disease. I speak Mandarin?
