First thing first we have a new puppy in the house he is very sweet and loving and also a demon. He is currently teething so he loves to bite everything and every morning after he goes pee he starts running around the apartment as fast as he can. So you need to be cool with that....

Hi I'm James (he/him), I recently moved to LA and I am still getting used to the area. So, if you would like a host who is very experienced the area I might not be right for you. But if you are down to figure this place out with me than let me know!

The most important thing in my life is my camera. I use my camera as much as possible! I mostly take portraits and landscapes, but I enjoy all forms of photography. I often take photos of travels that I meet or of hosts who I stay with.

Other than my passion of photograph I have many hobbies, my mind is always wandering so I am constantly trying new things to keep myself entertained.

I think that I am incredibly easy to get along with and I love to meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started Couchsurfing seven years ago and I can not imagine any other way of travel. Most of my travel plans are coordinated to maximize the amount of Couchsurfers I will meet.

Sadly during COVID I had to take a break from traveling and letting others into my home. It was honestly heart braking but I am getting back into it now and so happy to get to meet new people and share my home!

Without Couchsurfing I would have never met some of the best people I know now. I am so grateful for the Couchsurfing community and only plan to become more and more involved in the years to come!

I am interested by just about anything so I have lots of hobbies and even more things that interest me. The way I look at it I only get one chance at living so I better try as many things as I can!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, I am almost always listening to something. I mainly listen to rap and rock but I am always looking for something new. Some of my favorite bands/Artists are Idles, MF Doom, Orville Peck, and Jack White. Other than that I try to listen to a bit of everything, because every genre has something to offer.

I am very interested in films. I could talk about any aspect of movies all day long. I probably watch a movie a day! Some of my favorites are Children of Men, The lighthouse, Kill Bill, and Climax

As for books I used to not read much but I would like to get more into reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode a skateboard from Seattle Washington to New York City 3,392 miles to raise money for Cancer Research. It took 99 days and was my first exposure to adventuring and couchsurfing, my life has never been the same!
