About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn something new everyday and see the world with curious eyes

ABOUT ME

I'm 25 and since I was 18, I haven't slept in the same bed for more than 9 months. Since I graduated highschool (and moved out of mom's house) I have spent the majority of my time on a 134 foot sail training vessel based in the Pacific (Hawaii, Tahiti, San Diego, San Francisco) working as an Engineer and educator.

I'm constantly on the look out for new adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

A mentor in elementary school once told me, "don't sweat the small stuff, and its ALL small stuff."

Go big, or go home...and you cant go home

Get busy livin, or get busy dyin

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed with some very lovely people in French Polynesia, and am so excited to host and surf more!

Music, Movies, and Books

I actually really enjoy Disney animated movies (finding nemo, the incredibles, Aladdin, lion king...). I like mostly non-fiction books (jared diamond and michael pollan). I listen to laid back california style guitar music. vague as that may be, the speechwriters, red west, and a few local artists. The vandals, Sublime, Jack Johnson and John Mayor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After 4 weeks sailing from puerto vallarta to Tahiti, seeing the unfamiliar and faint outline of islands on the horizon was incredible. Cruising into the Marquesas (nuku hiva) on a 130 foot sail boat was unforgettable.

This last winter, in Costa Rica, we drove by a rodeo and got a chance to jump in the ring and run from bulls. one of the most invigorating experiences of my life (over being in a car crash, bungee jumping, and crab fishing in Alaska).

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, French Polynesia, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico, Panama, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
