About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet some new people and have a good time.

ABOUT ME

Hey everybody! I just finished traveling through Brazil for the world cup, and now I'm off to my next adventure of living/working in Qatar at a special needs school. I've just started but so far Qatar has been a pretty fun little country. I'm a pretty easy going guy and I love to do sports - if you wanna know more feel free to check out my references to get a better idea of who I am :)

06/2019 Update: Just left Qatar after 5 amazing years working with special needs students; I am hoping to do some more shadowing of different education systems and special needs things (if you are an educator/sped person and I'm traveling through, lets chat!), and I'll be taking the year off to travel and try to learn French and Arabic :)

5/20/21 Update - living in NYC now - Williamsburg with 2 friends :)

Hopefully our paths can cross!

PHILOSOPHY

People are people, regardless of where you go. They may come from different areas or speak different languages and have different customs, but at the end of the day people want to make a bit of money, they want well for their families, and they want to enjoy life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm here for people to come stay with or if I'm busy to stop by the house if we're having a party or something. We can plug you into our networking and you can get a kind of authentic feel for this area, and when I go travel that's exactly what I like to do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning Arabic (very slowly haha), but I might be able to shoot a bit of knowledge your way - also, life in Qatar is different in general from anywhere else I've lived before, so just culturally there's lots to learn. I'll teach you anything about the langauges I know happily, and if you need tips on places I've travelled I'd love to share that as well - as for learning; I'll pick up anything you're willing to put down :)
