Overview
About Me
I grew up in a shire-esque town in the UK.
At 18, I moved to Bristol to study mathematics and learnt how to drink tea from a Toby mug.
4 years ago, I ventured into the great expanse of Europe, residing in the first settlement I could find: Berlin, Germany.
2020: moved to Glasgow to study wildlife conservation, then back to Berlin; became Irish.
2021 beckons: Trump is gone; A vaccine for Covid is on the horizon (source: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/nov/09/covid-19-vaccine-candidate-effective-pfizer-biontech); I'm moving to Paraguay (forever?)
Some of my core interests are:
- Cinema.
- Live music (concert or club): from electronic, experimental, to jazz, or cumbia.
- Anthropology.
- Big cats (jaguars for instance!).
- Bouldering.
- Swimming.
- Cooking.
- Conversing (umbrella: language learning).
- Hiking and getting lost in nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favourite and most interesting trips have been when I have stayed with a local, met their family and friends and experienced their way of living; couch-surfing accommodates it.
(!!!Cheese!!!) Tmb CS is a great community and tool to amplify connections with people around the world, to learn from each other and to build new friendships: important for local to global well-being.
