Overview
About Me
I'm a young professional, living in Oxford and trying to experience all the world has to offer. I love to cook, laugh, dance and take a moment to appreciate the small things that make my life beautiful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to try all of the new things that make me nervous! I want to see the world, and meet interesting people and hear their stories. And I want to learn to know a place like someone who lives there.
Interests
I love to cook for, or more precisely, feed people. There's nothing I love more than getting a large crowd of friends over and feeding them good food.
I also like crosswords, listening to people talk about things they're passionate about, seeing plays and musicals and dancing like a mad thing when the right song comes on.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I like specific music depending on what I'm doing. Cooking means Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Sinatra and Cole Porter. Exercising means cheesy pop, for which I never apologise. And when I need to think, either choral music or soul.
Movies - My favourites are probably The Lady Vanishes (Hitchcock), Sister Act, Chocolat, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
Books - Too many to mention, but anything by Jasper Fforde, Ragtime by EL Doctorow and Americanah are my most recent favourites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Threw 5 different parties for a combined 1000 people at 5 different venues across Oxfordshire on the same evening.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Kindness, a good sense of humour, recipes and stories.
I'm also a very respectful person - if I'm invited into your space, I will make sure to be clean and treat it well. And my Mother always taught me never to arrive somewhere empty handed!
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Malawi, Spain, United States, Zambia
