Overview
About Me
I am a recent college grad living the millennial/twentysomething life just searching for meaningful work while actually working as a server. In my search for that ever elusive meaningful work, I dabble in teaching teens the wonderful ways of feminism and as a refugee resettlement intern. I dance for a Chicago modern dance company and am a founder of a collaborative movement/performance/dance collective. When not dancing or slinging steaks (though I myself am a vegetarian), I enjoy a hearty political discussion and spicy improvisational cooking. I grew up in the Appalachians and have a (healthy) obsession with mountains and a fascination with folk culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My most vivid and distinguished memories come from the moments I have had with the people I have met on my travels and I am looking for exchanges with like and differently minded people. I want to participate in a platform such as this that expands the accessibility of travel for myself and everyone.
