Having studied English Literature with the intent to travel the world then move into teaching, I met a girl, got a boring job and settled down. Inevitably my initial intentions resurfaced and now I'm making up for lost time. Currently working and loving in Canada for a couple of years and exploring the US while here. After this I will look to teach English as a foreign language in S.America of Asia.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

In general I feel it is just a great method of travelling and networking. Whether staying or hosting, meeting new people from different backgrounds yet similar interests is always a positive.
Currently me and a friend are on a big road trip across the US, so far we have driven from Toronto>Indianapolis>Nashville>Memphis>Houston>SouthPadre>SanAntonio and have several more places to visit. As we have no set locations we are living each day as it comes, a combination of couchsurfing, urban camping and outdoor camping. While a bed for the night is fantastic, our main requirement is simply access to hot showers!

Intereses

I can generate interest in anything really as I'm always eager to discover new things, primarily I'm interested in artistic activities but I also love competitive sport.

My key strength is in English, both creatively and professionally. After I have finished travelling I will move I to teaching. I'm also adept at graphic design, marketing and PR. I'm always interested in learning new things so whatever you have to teach I would be willing to learn. For example recently I have been educated on astrology and crystals!
