Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I will need places to stay while I backpack through Europe with my companion. The idea of staying with and experiencing the lives of the friendly people of each town we visit sounds so much more educational and intriguing compared to what would be gained from the diluted environment of hotel living.

Interests

I am in love with the world and want to experience all it has to offer. Whether its walking down a busy urban street or hiking through a remote forest, I want to see everything. While I look forward to the constant motion of backpacking and will have very little of this, I spend my free time writing, drawing and enjoying the company of those around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

As my tastes are broad and constantly evolving, it's difficult for me to sit and attempt at defining what my "favorite" anything is on any level.

Grasping at straws, I'll put that I sometimes listen to psychedelic rock, I frequently watch bizarre indie movies that Netflix suggests and are actually sometimes good, and when I get the chance or take the time, I read intense books with some sort of confusing premise.

I decided on a whim to hitchhike across Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I definitely expect on doing a lot more learning than teaching, but I am willing to give anything that I can. I hope to learn about the culture and lifestyles in every place I visit, and aim to gain as much information/stories/recipes/interests from each specific host as possible as well as share mine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides friendly company and good vibes, I am willing and eager to help out each of my hosts in whatever ways fit the situation.

I will also be giving any and all of your pets constant high quality affection.
