I am a 27 year year old Scotsman floating around the globe to experience everything and all that I can. Before that all started I studied computer game art and animation, with some freelance graphic design and motion graphics on the side.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My Portuguese friend started a worldwide hitchhiking trip at the end of 2015 and went on his journey for 8 months. After hearing about his experiences it made me want to give it a try and live my life a bit more! Couchsurfing seems to be a fantastic way to meet great people and see the world for what it truly is by living with likeminded travellers exchanging experiences and adventures. Anything that brings people closer together is a good thing in my mind!

Interests

Due to my studies and current career I have a strong interest in digital art, ranging anywhere from 3D animation to graphic design. I also enjoy photography and videography, and is one of my hobbies for when I'm travelling. Lastly (much like everyone here) I enjoy the outdoors, exploring, going on adventures and meeting new interesting people along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is pretty varied. For the longest time though I've listened to indie and alternative rock. A couple current favourites are Foals and Sticky Fingers.

I can teach people about Scottish living and culture, and my experiences from my life there so far, as well as my experiences everywhere else I have been in the world.

I hope to learn more about the world through my interaction with others. We’re all here for roughly the same amount of time, so why not try and experience as much as possible
